Holiday Time!

I love the name and the connotation of those words. Holiday time is peaceful, a time to chill out from our stressful life. Or is it...?

How much planning goes into your holiday?

We found the perfect solution for holidays. Never go back to the same place twice. Don’t laugh. It works.

There is a beautiful place called Twin Waters where we thought we could have a lovely time. It wasn’t too big and there was a pool to swim in. My boys love swimming in pools and it can be a very de-stressing time for all of us. The resort is one of those places where you can go for breakfast and eat anything you like. (Cooked breakfast included in price).

Well the first day went well; Daniel sat with us and ate his usual piece of toast! He was fascinated at how the toaster worked, so every time we turned away from him he would run over to the toaster and stand watching. The problem came next morning when we were at breakfast. We couldn’t see Daniel but we could see several kitchen staff running with towels and fire extinguisher towards the bread counter. Daniel had turned up the heat on the toaster and put too much bread in it so that it all got stuck! The very next day there was a sign near the toaster: "Do not touch dials or toaster, please ask for help"!
